LUCY’S LAMPS “LAMP MAKEOVER” GIVEAWAY

OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

1. Sponsor

The “Lamp Makeover Giveaway” (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored by Lucy’s Lamps (the “Sponsor”), located in New York, New York.​

2. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open only to natural persons who, at the time of entry, are legal residents of the [United States] and at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in their state of residence, if higher). Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor and its affiliates, and members of their immediate families and households, are not eligible to enter or win. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.

3. Giveaway Period

The Giveaway begins on 2.16.26 at 12:01am EST and ends on 3.16.26 at 11:59pm EST (the “Giveaway Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Giveaway Period will not be eligible.​

4. How to Enter

During the Giveaway Period, eligible individuals may enter the Giveaway by completing all of the following steps on Instagram:

1. Follow the @lucys_lamps Instagram account.
2. In your Instagram Story, post a photo or video of your space with the text “I NEED A LAMP MAKEOVER” and tag @lucys_lamps.
3. Tag at least one other Instagram user in the Giveaway announcement post on the @lucys_lamps account who you believe needs a lamp makeover.

All required actions must be completed using a single personal Instagram account that is set to “public” at the time of entry so that Sponsor can view the entry. Limit [one] entry per person; attempts to use multiple accounts or automated means of entry will void all associated entries.

Optional Content (Not Required)

Entrants may optionally “go the extra mile” by posting a video telling Sponsor why they need a lighting makeover and tagging @lucys_lamps. This is optional and does not affect eligibility or chance of winning.​

Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE)

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. As an alternative to entering via Instagram, you may enter by emailing Sponsor at [bailey@lucyslamps.com] during the Giveaway Period with the subject line “Lamp Makeover Giveaway Entry” and including your full name, mailing address, and Instagram handle (if any). Each eligible email received during the Giveaway Period will count as one entry. Entries submitted via AMOE will be included in the same drawing and have the same chance of winning as Instagram entries.

5. Entry Requirements; User‑Generated Content

By submitting any photo, video, story, caption, tag, or other content in connection with the Giveaway (collectively, “Content”), you represent and warrant that:

• The Content is your original work, you have all necessary rights to submit it, and it does not infringe or violate any rights of any third party.​
• The Content does not contain unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or otherwise objectionable material, and complies with Instagram’s terms of use and community guidelines.

You grant Sponsor a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, display, and distribute the Content, in whole or in part, in any media now known or later developed, for marketing and promotional purposes, without additional compensation, notification, or permission, except where prohibited by law.​

6. Winner Selection and Odds

After the end of the Giveaway Period, Sponsor will select 5 potential winner in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Any attempt to tamper with or undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may result in disqualification at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

7. Prize

The winner will receive a “Lamp Makeover” prize consisting of up to 5 lamps from either the chrome collection, orange collection, or paper lamp collection not exceeding $1,500 in retail value (the “Prize”). Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Prize: [USD $1500]. No cash or other substitution may be made, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated Prize is unavailable for any reason. Winner is solely responsible for any and all taxes and any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use that are not expressly stated in these Official Rules.

8. Winner Notification and Verification

The potential winner will be notified within 30 days following the drawing via direct message to the Instagram account used to enter, or via the email address provided through the AMOE, as applicable. The potential winner may be required to respond within hours and may be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility, liability/publicity release, and any other documentation reasonably requested by Sponsor, except where prohibited by law.

If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the required time period, is ineligible, fails to complete required documentation, or forfeits the Prize for any reason, Sponsor may select an alternate winner from among the remaining eligible entries.​

9. Publicity

Except where prohibited, participation in the Giveaway constitutes the winner’s consent to Sponsor’s use of winner’s name, likeness, biographical information, and city and state of residence for advertising, promotional, and other purposes, in any media now known or later developed, without additional notice, approval, or compensation.​

10. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, or suspend the Giveaway if, in Sponsor’s judgment, fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway, or for any other reason. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Giveaway.​

11. Release and Limitation of Liability

By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Instagram, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Giveaway or receipt or use of any Prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Giveaway; (b) technical errors; (c) printing errors; (d) late or undelivered entries; or (e) injury or damage to persons or property.

12. Instagram Disclaimer

The Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram. By participating, you acknowledge that you are providing your information to Sponsor and not to Instagram, and you release Instagram from any responsibility or liability arising out of or related to the Giveaway.

13. Compliance with Instagram and FTC Guidelines

All entries must comply with Instagram’s terms of use and promotion guidelines. When posting Content as part of your entry, you should clearly disclose your participation in this Giveaway (for example, by including “#LucyLampsGiveaway” or similar language) so that others understand your post is an entry for a chance to win a prize.

14. Disputes; Governing Law

Except where prohibited, entrants agree that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Giveaway or any Prize shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Giveaway, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.

15. Winner List

For the name of the winner, send an email to bailey@lucyslamps.com titled Lucy’s Lamps – “Lamp Makeover Giveaway Winner", to be received within 30 days after the end of the Giveaway Period. Where required, Sponsor will maintain and provide a certified winners list to applicable state regulators.
