"Good lighting is extremely essential in the process of making an image, it affects the mood and also energy of the photograph – you can hide things in the shadows to add contrast and mystery or illuminate everything to elude to a softness in the subject. I tend to prefer an even all-around light to light my models as it tends to highlight their features in a gentle way. My favorite light source is the sun and it changes constantly throughout the day, I favor the golden warmth hour nearing sunset because it brings a sense of dreaminess to anything it touches.
